Description

Develop and maintain firmware for industrial real-time operating systems in electrical substation monitoring and data acquisition.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware solutions for substation monitoring and diagnosis.
• Lead firmware development, including quality control and project scheduling.
• Perform pre-qualification and verification testing to support the team.
• Manage product transition to mass manufacturing and provide post-release support.
• Execute software development and validation using Scrum Agile methodology.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development.
• Expertise in Embedded C/C++ within hard real-time, multi-threaded environments.
• Proven experience with Linux and Yocto in real-time embedded architectures.
• Hands-on experience programming peripheral interfaces including UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Experience with High Speed Serial IO and embedded processors.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause determination and issue resolution.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DSP programming.
• Familiarity with Matlab.
