Description

You own the firmware validation, failure analysis, and quality assurance lifecycle for SSD firmware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review failures from daily and weekly validation runs and perform first-level failure analysis.
• Assign failures to appropriate test developers or owners and follow up on triage.
• File firmware and test bugs in Jira and continuously track their resolution.
• Coordinate with the execution team to rerun lab and environment failures.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in SSD and storage domains.
• Extensive programming experience in Python.
• In-depth knowledge of failure analysis and triage for SSD firmware validation or embedded issues.
• Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage.
• Understanding of storage interfaces, ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS.
• Proficiency with Git commands, including repo branching management, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with test automation, testing methodologies, and tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
