Description

You will own SSD firmware validation and failure analysis within the storage domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review failures from daily and weekly validation runs to perform first-level analysis.
• Assign failures to test developers and manage the triage process through JIRA.
• Coordinate with execution teams to rerun lab and environment failures.
• Track firmware and test bugs from identification through resolution.
• Manage repository tasks including branching, merging, and conflict resolution using Git.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SSD firmware testing or the storage industry.
• Extensive programming experience in Python.
• Experience with NAND flash and non-volatile storage.
• Strong understanding of storage interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS.
• Proven ability in failure analysis (triage) of SSD firmware validation or field issues.
• Proficiency with Git commands, repo branching, and merge conflict resolution.
• Experience with test automation, testing methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on usage of Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Bachelor or Master's degree.
