Description

Design and implement firmware for inverters and battery chargers within UPS systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for inverters and battery chargers in UPS systems.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, design, programming, and unit testing.
• Analyze and modify existing firmware to implement product enhancements and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test engineers to define subsystem requirements.
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of firmware control engineering experience.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with DC/AC inverters.
• Experience with Texas Instruments C2000 series for real-time control, inverters, or motor drives.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and component data sheets.
• Experience with I2C and SPI communication protocols.
• Experience with Git source code control and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lithium Battery management systems.
• Experience with CAN and RS485 communications.
• Background in electronic circuit design and power electronics design.
