Description

You will lead the full project execution lifecycle for Linux-based firmware development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete development cycle including requirement understanding, design, development, and bug fixing.
• Execute Linux kernel device driver development from scratch and manage user space applications.
• Perform board bring-up with SoC platforms including Marvell, NXP, TI, Broadcom, and Qualcomm.
• Manage technical documentation such as RS, Design, and Test Plans.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in technical interviews and candidate evaluations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems and Linux development.
• Strong hands-on C programming and debugging expertise.
• Proven track record in Linux user space application development.
• Experience developing Linux kernel device drivers from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of at least one Linux kernel subsystem and Linux kernel version 3.0+.
• Experience with ARM and Cortex-A series processor architectures.
• Proficiency with build systems including Yocto, Buildroot, CMake, and Makefiles.
• Strong Git version control skills.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, and Cppchecker.

Preferred Skills

• C++ and OOPs programming.
• Embedded GUI development using QT.
• Hardware schematic review, PCB debugging, and use of logic analyzers or oscilloscopes.
