Description

Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware and systems for client devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-quality firmware, including power management, boot loaders, scheduling, and RTOS functionality.
• Analyze and debug firmware and hardware issues using oscilloscopes and logic/protocol analyzers.
• Translate device documentation into functional software solutions and design experiments to diagnose embedded problems.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to drive system-level solutions and support demonstrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software design and programming in C/C++.
• Experience developing fail-safe firmware for low-power real-time system control.
• Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS.
• Deep knowledge of ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4 architecture, boot mechanisms, and interrupt priorities.
• Proficiency with peripherals including USB, SPI, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
• Ability to analyze hardware, power consumption, and clock-level issues.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with clock gating, polling, and hardware bridges.
