Description

Validate and test firmware for consumer networking hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated testing processes for firmware releases.
• Validate hardware functionality for routers, switches, and related networking devices.
• Perform testing within Unix and Linux environments.
• Verify networking protocol implementations including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, and DHCP.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering.
• Proficiency with Python and Robot Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and Linux operating systems.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols: IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, and DHCP.
• Experience testing consumer networking hardware such as routers and switches.
• Ability to perform manual and automated test execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a lead or mentoring capacity.
