Description

You will own the end-to-end testing process for firmware applications, from requirement analysis to build deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts based on system feature requirements.
• Set up HIL benches, CAN communication, and cloud environments to create functional test beds.
• Perform functionality, black box, gray box, and regression testing on vehicle and bench setups.
• Troubleshoot system issues involving power, harnesses, and software bugs.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle by identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs through resolution.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python scripting for automated test development.
• Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) bench setup and CAN communication testing.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools including Jira, Azure, and Bugzilla.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and firmware methodologies.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and analyze system data points to identify bottlenecks.
• Experience working within Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of version control and build management.
• Proven ability in black box, gray box, and regression testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
