Description

You will own the validation lifecycle for embedded firmware, ensuring stability and performance through rigorous testing and analysis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, cases, and strategies to validate firmware functionality.
• Develop and run functional, regression, and performance tests to verify system stability.
• Collaborate with firmware developers and hardware engineers to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Analyze test results and report on firmware quality metrics and performance data.
• Participate in design and code reviews to contribute to overall firmware quality improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware validation within client-based or enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting for automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and firmware development principles.
• Hands-on experience with firmware debugging and software troubleshooting techniques.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills for complex system issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience using industry-standard tools for validation and diagnostics.
