Description

You will validate firmware functionality and stability through rigorous testing and analysis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and strategies for firmware validation.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure system stability.
• Analyze test results and report on firmware quality and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to improve firmware.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware validation within a client-based or enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.
• Experience with firmware validation, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying firmware defects.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
