Description

Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for aerospace-grade systems using C and C++.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software solutions for aerospace applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues across diverse hardware platforms.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure strict compliance with aerospace coding standards like MISRA C/C++.
• Integrate third-party and open-source software components into the system.
• Maintain technical documentation in accordance with aerospace industry standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architecture.
• Proficiency with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS or VxWorks.
• Expertise in C++ and embedded programming paradigms.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and ARINC 429.
• Familiarity with aerospace certification standards, specifically RTCA DO-178C.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
