Description

You will own the development and maintenance of embedded Linux platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Linux OS images using Yocto or Debian-based systems.
• Integrate kernel modules, device drivers, and BSPs for embedded devices.
• Develop C/C++/Python services for data acquisition, buffering, and routing.
• Implement networking stacks including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and LTE/4G.
• Implement secure boot, signed firmware, and OTA updates with rollback protection.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Yocto and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
• Experience configuring MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, and NAT.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud integration patterns.
• Experience managing device security, certificates, and access control.
• Proficiency in developing and automating unit/integration tests.
• Experience profiling and tuning CPU, memory, and I/O performance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
