Description

Deliver technical infrastructure and project execution for a global fleet of vessels.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deliver infrastructure to defined design specifications.
• Execute end-to-end hardware tasks including racking, connection, and configuration.
• Collaborate with Fleet IT and Project Managers to drive technical project delivery.
• Perform proactive problem management for business-as-usual services and outages.
• Complete standardized technical documentation and define project requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with servers, storage, and backups.
• Proficiency in network and communication architectures.
• Knowledge of power/UPS and desktop technologies.
• Experience with cloud and application architectures.
• Understanding of IT operational risk management and service methodologies such as ITIL or ISO.
• Proven ability to implement IT projects from start to finish.
• Ability to travel for ad-hoc vessel visits, sometimes at short notice.

Preferred Skills

• Contribute to technical designs for new and upgraded fleet solutions alongside IT Architecture teams.
• Degree level education in IT or equivalent professional experience.
