Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines using Apache Flink.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write new data pipelines and deliver scalable Data Warehouse solutions.
• Debug and optimize existing pipelines, specifically tuning resource-intensive or slow executions.
• Implement automation for pipeline management and set up observability metrics.
• Oversee coding, unit testing, system testing, and deploy fixes for identified defects.
• Gather requirements and design solutions in high-growth environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Apache Flink.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with stream and batch processing concepts.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Familiarity with relational databases and MPP systems like AWS Athena and Hive.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Spark.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and basic DevOps practices.
