Description

Build and maintain large-scale stream processing jobs using Flink.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Flink jobs written in Java or Python.
• Deploy applications on OpenShift and ensure system reliability.
• Define scalable calculation logic for interactive and batch use cases.
• Produce unit and system tests for all code.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams on complex data analysis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of programming experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing stream processing systems.
• Proficiency in writing and reading Java and Python code.
• Experience with Flink real-time data streaming and the Flink Kubernetes Operator.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes (K8s).
• Knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra, or MemSQL.
• Deep knowledge of troubleshooting and tuning streaming applications for performance.
• Experience with design strategies for scalable, resilient, always-on data lakes.

Preferred Skills

• Participate in design discussions to improve existing frameworks.
