Description

Design, implement, and maintain real-time monitoring bots on the Forta network to detect on-chain threats and anomalies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Forta detection bots using TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
• Analyze smart contracts and transaction flows to identify potential threats.
• Write custom threat detection logic tailored to specific protocols and dApps.
• Maintain and optimize bot infrastructure and alerting pipelines.
• Integrate Forta alerts with incident response tools and dashboards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or blockchain development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with Ethereum (EVM-based) smart contracts and transaction analysis.
• Familiarity with the Forta network, including agent development and deployment.
• Deep understanding of blockchain security threats like flash loan attacks, reentrancy, and MEV.
• Ability to read and audit Solidity contracts.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8140 compliance, CompTIA Security+ or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Prior contributions to the Forta network via public bot repos or bounty submissions.
• Experience with blockchain data indexing tools such as The Graph, Alchemy, or Ethers.js.
• Familiarity with Web3 security tools including Slither, Foundry, or MythX.
