Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls within an agile DevOps environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, upgrade, and maintain Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls using virtual instances like VDOM and VSX.
• Deploy network infrastructure and software following established change management processes.
• Execute firewall requests and rule-base management in accordance with security policies.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting to improve network workflows and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product owners and squad members to implement technical designs from high-level architecture to deployment.

Required Skills

• Active Fortinet FCP or FCSS Network Security certification.
• Active Cisco CCNA certification.
• 6+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Checkpoint Smart-1.
• Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network flows, interconnectivity, and performance issues.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and Cisco ACI.
• Familiarity with security policy management tools like Algosec.

Preferred Skills

• Checkpoint CCSA or CCSM certification.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Zero Touch provisioning.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
