Description

You will modernize legacy Fortran applications and develop enterprise-scale microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize legacy applications using Fortran and modern microservices architectures.
• Design and build enterprise-scale Java applications and microservices.
• Modernize batch applications into microservices using REST API, SOAP, and messaging queue frameworks.
• Perform data modeling and analysis using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Fortran.
• Strong relational database knowledge using SQL and PLSQL (Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL).
• Experience with Java enterprise applications and microservices implementation.
• Proficiency in interpreted languages including JavaScript, Perl, and Shell Script.
• Experience with Git or Subversion for version control.
• Knowledge of REST API, SOAP, and messaging queue frameworks.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Practical understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with YAML for configuration management.
