You will develop and modernize legacy systems and enterprise-scale applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale Java applications and microservices.
• Modernize batch applications into microservices architectures.
• Implement REST API, SOAP integrations, and messaging queue frameworks.
• Perform data analysis and data modeling using relational databases.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong Fortran programming experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Perl, or Shell Script.
• Experience with Git or Subversion for version control.
• Experience with YAML for configuration management.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented analysis and common design patterns.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of COBOL (iSeries COBOL 400, System Z Enterprise COBOL 6-8).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
