Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve technical support tickets, including on-call duties.
- Develop and implement application enhancements independently, aiming to become a Subject Matter Expert.
- Contribute solutions to complex work-related problems and participate actively in team discussions.
- Analyze project requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers, guiding them on application development best practices.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in Fortran programming language.
- 7+ years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of the application development life cycle and methodologies.
- Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
- Experience with Linux and SQL.
