Description

You will design and operate highly scalable distributed systems using FoundationDB.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable solutions using FoundationDB to maintain high availability.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data consistency.
• Set up test cluster environments, perform benchmarking, and visualize results.
• Handle tracing, debugging, and direct code changes.
• Research quantum computing, simulation, chemistry, or information areas within an R&D environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and operating scalable distributed systems.
• 4+ years of direct experience with FoundationDB.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Knowledge of classical compilation techniques such as LLVM or GCC.
• Experience with AWS, including AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Security certifications.
• Experience with cloud deployment and monitoring using Kubernetes.
• Understanding of security and privacy principles.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go.
