Description

You will own the reliability and observability posture for core systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize observability solutions covering metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Define and support the adoption of Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Indicators (SLIs).
• Lead incident response efforts during outages and contribute to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
• Collaborate with product teams to embed observability best practices into development workflows.
• Champion automation initiatives to reduce operational toil and improve system visibility.

Required Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in software engineering or SRE.
• Deep exposure to observability and monitoring principles.
• Strong experience with Datadog and Splunk.
• Proven track record in incident management and RCA facilitation.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards and alerts.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native systems.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills across distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Deep expertise in Datadog or Splunk tooling.
• Prior experience in e-commerce or high-availability digital platforms.
