Description

You will build and own the core engineering systems from the ground up.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the core backend architecture using Python frameworks.
• Develop scalable APIs, data models, and services focused on performance and reliability.
• Deliver end-to-end features across the stack, including frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Establish foundational engineering practices like code reviews, testing, and observability standards.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack capabilities.
• Proven experience building and scaling backend systems using Python in production.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with databases like PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience working in startup environments or owning products from 0-1.
• Strong understanding of system design and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with React and Next.js for frontend development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with founders to translate product ideas into solutions.
