Description

You will design, implement, and optimize high-speed digital logic for FPGAs, integrating modules with embedded systems and high-speed interfaces.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize FPGA designs targeting AMD/Xilinx UltraScale Plus devices.
• Integrate FPGA modules with processors and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, HBM, DDR4, AXI).
• Perform functional simulation, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Support platform bring-up, validation, and debugging in the lab.
• Create and maintain design specifications, test plans, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in FPGA or ASIC design and development.
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Vivado or Quartus.
• Strong understanding of digital logic, high-speed design, and timing closure.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, HBM, DDR4, and AXI.
• Experience leveraging Jira, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Tcl, Python) for automation.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and the OSI layer model.
