Description

You will own the architecture, design, and validation of FPGA RTL for display subsystem prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement FPGA RTL to enable prototype systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define RTL specs and plan feature roadmaps.
• Write low-level C/C++ drivers that interface with FPGA RTL.
• Drive hardware bringup, characterization, and debug using standard lab equipment.
• Mentor junior engineers to maintain technical standards and encourage growth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and development.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ programming for firmware and drivers.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Perforce.
• Deep understanding of standard digital interfaces including SPI, I2C, LVDS, and DDR.
• Ability to read board schematics and apply EE fundamentals.
• Experience using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Familiarity with FPGA debugging tools such as Chipscope or SignalTap.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
