Description

Architect, implement, and verify complex modem and DSP algorithms in programmable logic for radio communications products.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex algorithms in FPGAs and software.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis, conceptual design, and trade studies.
• Develop self-checking test benches for design verification using SystemVerilog.
• Assist in developing high-level and detailed verification test plans.
• Prepare design reviews and present technical briefings to internal and external customers.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing and verifying FPGA/ASIC based embedded system solutions with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience implementing complex modem and/or DSP circuits in programmable logic.
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog for FPGA/ASIC development.
• Experience in FPGA/ASIC verification using SystemVerilog.
• Experience in embedded system design for communications systems.
• Working in a Linux based development environment.
• Python scripting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Matlab, Simulink, or similar DSP modelling tools.
• Experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
• Knowledge of vendor-specific FPGA tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or Libero.
