Description
You will design and implement FPGA-based solutions within regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Capture and refine product specifications into device-level requirements, including functional architecture and requirement justification.
- Implement requirements using VHDL code, integrating existing IPs and standard protocols.
- Write and debug firmware code for FPGA devices.
- Perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting of FPGA designs to resolve implementation issues.
- Apply DO-254 or similar safety guidelines to ensure a rigorous design process.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA or PLD development.
- Proficiency in VHDL or similar hardware description languages.
- Experience with standard protocols such as SPI, I2C, AMBA, Ethernet, or Omnibus.
- Knowledge of DO-254 or similar safety-critical design guidelines.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical product environments.
- Ability to define functional architecture and derived requirements.
- Degree in any engineering or technical field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DO-254 compliance in safety-critical systems.
