Description

Lead the architectural design and development of large-scale ecommerce front-end applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Create technical design documents and UML artifacts including class, activity, and sequence diagrams.
• Design composable frontend architectures following core principles.
• Implement security best practices including API authorization and validation.
• Optimize application performance through benchmarking and code optimization.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in front-end development with 3+ years in an architectural role.
• Expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with commerce-based domains and platforms like commercetools or Frontastic.
• Proficiency in UML modeling using tools like draw.io, Lucidchart, or Miro.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Tokens.
• Experience with authentication protocols including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies and SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience with build tools such as Babel, Webpack, and Yarn.

Preferred Skills

• Competency with version control including Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, or VSTS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like New Relic and Splunk.
