Description

You will own the development, testing, and deployment of high-performance web features using React, Node.js, and GraphQL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on implementation of complex single-page applications and drive technical excellence through design and code reviews.
• Build and deliver high-quality features for web platforms, collaborating with UX designers and product managers to resolve bugs and enhance the platform.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate large-scale distributed production systems, analyzing code and APIs for efficiency and performance.
• Enforce continuous integration, test-driven development, and modern engineering best practices to ensure reliable code delivery.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership while maintaining current knowledge of emerging technologies and AI tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expert-level proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, and object-oriented JavaScript for building complex SPAs.
• Strong server-side experience with Node.js and GraphQL for API development and integration.
• Deep understanding of browser-side technologies including HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, HTTP, and JSON.
• Experience with build tools and modern workflows such as Webpack, Babel, and CI/CD deployment architectures.
• Proficiency in test-driven development using frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and UI testing tools such as Playwright or WebdriverIO.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse, geographically dispersed teams and utilize AI coding assistants like Cursor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy testing frameworks including Enzyme and Protractor.
• Strong background in design patterns and software architecture principles.
