Description

You will design and build customer-facing applications while managing technical project documentation and execution. You will analyze data to support technical decisions and ensure robust delivery from planning to launch.

Responsibilities

• Design and build customer-facing applications using modern web technologies.
• Write technical documentation, including software requirements, scopes of work, and estimates.
• Run technical projects from initial planning through to final execution.
• Collect and analyze data to support technical decision-making and project scope.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Docker, ActiveMQ, RDS/Postgres, Firebase, and Sentry.
• Working knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience designing and developing customer-facing applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend development with React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React Native, Mapbox, or ESRI.
• Knowledge of railroad operations or GIS and location-based data systems.
