Description

Build responsive, accessible web interfaces and scalable cloud-based applications using Next.js and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable front-end code using Next.js, React, and modern CSS/HTML.
• Collaborate with back-end teams to design system architecture and implement APIs for seamless data communication.
• Optimize website speed and performance through code optimization, image compression, and caching strategies.
• Execute the full software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to writing technical specifications.
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems and manage source control via Git or Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of professional development using Next.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 8+ years of AWS cloud-based application development, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, and CloudFront.
• 8+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• 8+ years of experience with AWS CloudWatch for resource monitoring and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of experience developing microservices.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile development processes and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• 5+ years of experience with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
• Knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Amplify for data management and user authentication.
