Description

Lead front-end development for AEM web applications, owning the technical direction and code quality across the stack.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement reusable front-end components using React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.js within AEM.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs while enforcing security best practices and performance optimizations.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and establish front-end coding standards.
• Collaborate with UX, backend, and business teams to deliver responsive designs aligned with WCAG guidelines.
• Manage the build pipeline using Node.js, Webpack, and Jenkins to ensure consistent delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of front-end development experience with at least 2 AEM Agile projects.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and React.js (mandatory), Vue.js, or Angular.js.
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS/LESS) for responsive and accessible UI development.
• Hands-on experience with AEM-specific UI frameworks including HTL, Coral UI 2/3, and clientlibs.
• Proficiency with build tools and version control: Node.js, npm, Webpack, Git, and Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization, browser quirks, and security (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience working with JIRA for project tracking and agile workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Adobe Analytics, Target, and Launch from a front-end perspective.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
