Description

You will lead the automation QE team to design, develop, and scale automation frameworks across Web, Mobile, and OTT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the automation QE team, managing work distribution across onsite and offshore resource models.
• Design and develop automation frameworks and solutions for Web, Mobile, and OTT platforms.
• Define automation roadmaps, test plans, and effort estimations based on business priorities.
• Conduct comparative analysis of tools and research for proof of concepts.
• Review and approve automation code while mentoring engineers on automation skills.
• Monitor automation metrics including coverage, script utilization, and ROI to ensure QA SLAs are met.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Front End Automation and Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading automation teams.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with Java, TypeScript, and Python.
• Extensive experience with Selenium for Web and Appium for Mobile and OTT platforms.
• Proven expertise in integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Cucumber, TestNG, Pytest, and Maven.
• Proficiency with Maven, Eclipse IDE, PyCharm IDE, Katalon Studio, Extent, and Allure/HTML reporting.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Roku API libraries, Xcode, and Android Studio.
• Experience working within SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in Media, Entertainment, or Sports, including Linear Streaming, VOD, and DAI Ads.
• Experience with Test Management tools like QMetry or Zephyr and Jira/Confluence.
