Description

You will refactor mobile and web banking applications to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.0 standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor existing codebases to meet American Disability Act (ADA) and WCAG 2.0 compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement reusable UI components.
• Write unit tests and utilize automated testing frameworks.
• Apply design and UX guidelines to front-end implementations.
• Address the backlog of non-compliant code within the banking applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Angular and JavaScript.
• Expertise in Web Standards, HTML semantics, and CSS.
• Experience with BEM or other modular CSS methodologies.
• Proficiency with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and ADA standards.
• Experience with Typescript, Gulp, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Competency with Selenium, Swagger, Sonarqube, Mocha, Karma, and HTML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design systems, Web Components, or Micro Front-ends.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile, Git workflows, and hybrid mobile applications like Cordova.
• Experience in Linux, Unix, or Mac OS X environments and using command line tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent work experience.
