Description

Own the quality assurance and test automation strategy for modern JavaScript frontend applications, ensuring reliability across the UI layer.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Develop and execute behavior-driven tests for React applications using React Testing Library.
• Validate API interactions within UI tests, covering both REST and GraphQL endpoints.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback loops.
• Analyze state management, async rendering, and error handling to identify frontend defects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or Quality Engineering with a frontend focus.
• Hands-on experience testing modern JavaScript applications, preferably React.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, or comparable UI automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs for backend validation.
• Experience working in agile and DevOps environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of async rendering and frontend error handling patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe-core) and visual regression testing.
• Familiarity with contract testing concepts, API mocking (e.g., MSW), or AI-assisted testing workflows.
• Experience testing payment or transaction-based user interfaces.
