Description

You will deliver new capabilities for ecommerce, customer-facing, and internal intranet sites.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress plugins, themes, and architectures following established standards.
• Integrate web and third-party APIs into existing site structures.
• Perform website quality control, browser compatibility testing, and debugging.
• Manage build tools and workflows to maintain site stability and performance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and website design/development.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP and MySQL, including OOP, autoloading, namespacing, traits, and interfaces.
• Strong JavaScript skills including vanilla JS, jQuery, AJAX, and ES6.
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
• Experience with responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Proficiency with SCSS compilers and build tools like Gulp and Webpack.
• Familiarity with package managers including Composer and NPM.
• Experience with distributed version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CSS Grid, Flexbox, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with WordPress plugins like Toolset and Contact Form 7.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, or Braze.
