Description

You will build responsive front-end interfaces and develop RESTful web services for HHSC IT applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end user interfaces using Angular with modern, responsive design patterns.
• Convert existing SOAP-based services to RESTful services and build new RESTful web services.
• Develop and maintain services within the JBoss EAP environment.
• Participate in requirements analysis, high-level design, development, testing, and deployment of application components.
• Analyze software for performance tuning opportunities and resolve system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end and web service development.
• Strong proficiency with Angular for front-end development.
• Experience with Web Services, specifically SOAP and REST.
• Hands-on experience with the JBoss EAP environment.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
• Ability to create technical and design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system analysis and problem resolution.
