Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright with Python.
• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts with strong coverage, reusability, and maintainable code.
• Build and enhance UI automation frameworks, including reusable components, test data management, and reporting.
• Execute automated and manual tests aligned to sprint timelines and release cycles; validate front-office and fixed income workflows.
• Collaborate across QA, developers, and business teams to support quality across the SDLC and perform debugging/root-cause analysis.

Skills Required:

• 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in UI automation and test automation engineering.
• Hands-on UI automation experience with Playwright automation and modern web UI testing practices.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation scripting, writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Experience designing and enhancing UI automation frameworks with scalable components, test data handling, and reporting.
• Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release-ready test execution.

Good to Have:

• API testing/integration experience and basic SQL for backend validation.
• BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Behave.
• Experience with MySQL for test data or backend verification.

Education: Any graduation (10th/12th/UG/PG as applicable)
