Description

You will design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright with Python, focusing on front-office and fixed income workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert manual test cases into automated scripts with strong coverage, reusability, and maintainable code.
• Build and enhance UI automation frameworks, including reusable components, test data management, and reporting.
• Execute automated and manual tests aligned to sprint timelines and release cycles.
• Collaborate across QA, developers, and business teams to support quality across the SDLC and perform debugging/root-cause analysis.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release-ready test execution.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in UI automation and test automation engineering.
• Hands-on UI automation experience with Playwright and modern web UI testing practices.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation scripting, writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Experience designing and enhancing UI automation frameworks with scalable components, test data handling, and reporting.
• Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.

Preferred Skills

• API testing/integration experience and basic SQL for backend validation.
• Experience with MySQL for test data or backend verification.
