Description

You will build and maintain complex frontend applications with a strong focus on accessibility and GIS integrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive UIs using Angular (v14+), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate Esri ArcGIS Maps API/SDK and design geocoding/geoprocessing services.
• Implement WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, Section 508 standards, and WAI-ARIA guidelines.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs for data reporting and Power BI dashboards.
• Manage source control via Git/Azure Repos and collaborate on enterprise-level deployments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of frontend development experience with modern frameworks.
• Expertise in Angular (preferably 14 or higher).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery).
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
• Proficiency in designing responsive, mobile-first, and accessible interfaces.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and database management.
• Knowledge of Solid principles, design patterns, and testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma).
• Familiarity with ArcPro, GeoEvent Processor, Experience Builder, and Survey123.

Preferred Skills

• Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the CI/CD process.
• Background in GIS data design for reporting layers.
