Description

Build and maintain reusable UI components for the MDOT Development program, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and accessibility compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable UI components prioritizing performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with development teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to deliver scalable interfaces.
• Test all code for accessibility compliance using JAWS reader and browser plugins.
• Apply UX design principles and standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile development workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with React.js.
• 5+ years of experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance policies.
• 3+ years of experience with Java 8+.
• 3+ years of experience using Java IDE tools such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio.
• 2+ years of experience with the Spring framework.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 2+ years of experience with the JPA framework.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience programming in a JBOSS Enterprise environment.
