Description

Manage the full development lifecycle for Java/J2EE web applications within an IBM WebSphere environment. Build and maintain websites and applications through planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end GUIs, middleware, and back-end database connectivity for distributed systems.
• Collaborate with project managers using Agile and traditional methodologies to execute development tasks.
• Influence software engineering best practices within the team.
• Support and enhance corporate card banking systems.
• Ensure solid understanding of JUnit and full life-cycle system development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, SQL, and JDBC development.
• 8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and AngularJS.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Web Standards.
• Experience with Restful APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, and NoSQL/Cassandra or Graph DB technologies.
• Practical use of front-end tools including Babel, Webpack, NPM, and yarn.
• Familiarity with DevOps environments including Git/GitHub, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Responsive and Adaptive Web Design.
• Knowledge of Accessibility standards.
