Description

Lead a new frontend engineering team and shape its technical direction from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and mentor developers while managing the team remotely.
• Build frontend infrastructure to ensure scalability and maintainability for platform services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Represent the team in technical discussions to align with company strategies.
• Define technical vision and integrate best practices into the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with a focus on scalable, modular systems.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring developers or managing a team.
• Experience leading a site or team located in a different country from the rest of the group.
• Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams remotely.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building a technical team from scratch.
• Familiarity with infrastructure design for developer platforms, APIs, or SDKs.
