Description

Lead a frontend development team while remaining hands-on with production code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and mentor developers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Manage group task priorities and technical decision-making.
• Identify technical debt and lead efforts to resolve architectural challenges.
• Coordinate with stakeholders outside of the immediate group.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing between your team and other engineering groups.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience leading a team of 3 or more developers.
• 5-6 years of professional experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Practical experience with Angular, React, or Vue.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including testing and code reviews.
• Proven ability to write maintainable, production-grade code.
• Experience identifying and avoiding software anti-patterns.
• Ability to define and execute a technical vision for a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and maintaining large-scale, highly available production systems.
• Skills in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and TDD.
