Description

You will design, develop, and deploy web applications following W3C standards, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and robust user interfaces.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop semantic HTML mockups and stylesheets using HTML, XHTML, XSL, and XSLT.
• Build rich user interface applications using JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and AJAX.
• Implement AJAX-driven functionality extensively using jQuery.
• Maintain UI prototypes and specifications while ensuring compatibility across Safari, Firefox, and IE.
• Migrate content to Content Management Systems and write unit tests to debug cross-browser performance.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, XHTML, XSL, and XSLT.
• Extensive experience with jQuery and AJAX.
• Strong command of CSS, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Experience with ActionScript and Flash.
• Ability to use Photoshop for web application design.
• Experience debugging code for cross-browser and cross-platform performance.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• One year of professional experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Software Engineers on UI design guidelines.
