Description

You own production management for backup and storage infrastructure in a 24x7 global environment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize support tickets based on severity and impact.
• Monitor ticket queues, alerts, and email to resolve production issues.
• Manage disk and tape backup configurations, including pool management and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot Pure Storage FlashArray and Brocade G series fabric switches.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for critical data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level storage environments.
• Experience with Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products.
• Experience with Rubrik r6000 series data protection, including snapshots and replication.
• Proficiency with Brocade G series fabric switch products.
• Proficiency with Networker and Data Domain.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX-like operating systems.
• Familiarity with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tape labeling and pool management.
