Description

Develop and support applications within the financial modeling and research division. Own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support scalable applications and services.
• Fix defects and address technical debt to maintain high software development standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code backed by automated unit and integration tests with full coverage.
• Coordinate across infrastructure layers and assist with infrastructure upgrades.
• Interpret financial business requirements to drive feature delivery.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development and programming experience.
• Strong background in building scalable applications using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Kafka and the Netflix stack for microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in REST API design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Experience with build and integration tools including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Knowledge of application, data, and architecture design patterns and principles.
• Angular development experience.
• Financial acumen to understand business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Sybase, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.
