Description

You will remediate and enhance existing applications, handling bug fixes, security updates, and database schema design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop application enhancements involving complex business requirements, custom data interfaces, and security compliance regulations.
• Convert existing stand-alone solutions into CloverDX Data Services.
• Create SQL scripts for schema alterations and bulk data loads to support application changes.
• Manage production changes using formal deployment procedures, back-out plans, and quality testing.
• Deploy application changes using IntelliJ IDEA, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, and GitHub Enterprise.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in application development or software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, JDBC, SQL, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with AngularJS 1.x and Bootstrap 3, or Vue3 and Bootstrap 5.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub Enterprise for source code management.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and secure software development best practices.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional software development lifecycle methods.
• Ability to perform relational database requirements analysis, schema design, and query construction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools including Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus Repository.
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, LDAP, and Windows or UNIX-based application server platforms.
