Description

You will remediate and enhance existing applications, managing all aspects of web development including bug fixes, security updates, and database schema design.

Responsibilities

• Develop application enhancements involving complex business requirements, custom data interfaces, and security regulations.
• Convert existing stand-alone solutions into CloverDX Data Services.
• Create SQL scripts for schema alterations and bulk data loads to support application changes.
• Deploy changes using IntelliJ IDEA, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, and GitHub Enterprise.
• Manage production changes using formal deployment procedures, back-out plans, and quality testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, JDBC, and SQL.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with AngularJS 1.x and Bootstrap 3, or Vue3 and Bootstrap 5.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub Enterprise for source code management.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and secure software development practices.
• Experience with relational database schema design and query construction.
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and IT change management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus Repository.
• Experience with Java application servers like Apache Tomcat and LDAP.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as CloverDX and OSI EITK, or data historians like AVEVA PI System.
