Description

Build and maintain secure web applications and firewall automation workflows using Java, AngularJS, and Node.js.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing modules using AngularJS, Spring Boot, Java JPA, REST APIs, and Node.js/Express.
• Apply and maintain periodic updates for RHEL and Windows to ensure security compliance and vulnerability management.
• Streamline firewall workflow processes by automating request handling, policy lifecycle activities, and change execution steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and security squads to translate requirements into scalable, secure application solutions.
• Build technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and support materials for application features and improved processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of full stack web application development experience.
• Expert level Java and advanced Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in AngularJS, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Java JPA, REST APIs, and Node.js with Express on Tomcat.
• Backend database experience with Oracle or Derby.
• CI/CD tooling experience with Jenkins, Nexus, Bitbucket/git, and Ansible.
• Operating system familiarity with RHEL 8.x.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Shell scripting and DevOps tool experience with Jira and Confluence.
